Quiet Nasal
Any one that owns a goat please help?
Since this morning he has been a little under the weather but not quite sure why. He has always met us at the gate in the mornings when we go to feed him today he didnt. He is eating but not like he used to. He is the noisest goat ever but today he has been really quiet. Also he does have some nasal drainage. He moves around but not so much as before. Any ideas on what the issue is and what can we do to fix the problem?
Calling a vet would be best, the list of possible problems he is is quite large, unless you can give me more information, so far i would guess it could be:
poisonous plant eaten- im not sure of the signs of this, google it, i have never had any problems, but common poisonous plants to them are rhodedendron, and maountain laurel, if you think it might be this, email me, i have a ton of reciped to help
pneumonia- he will be breathing shallowly and fast
a virus- many signs such a drowsyness, and a runny nose or diarhea
parasite infestation- drowsyness, unalert, this happens if you fail to worm your goat
